MAT was created in 2012 in Albania by Matilda Mulhaxhia as an experimental laboratory in the creation and realization of costumes for Tv Shows.

As a result of a constant demand for personalized clothing, this laboratory turns into an atelier. Matilda operates her creativity in Albania until August 2016, than she moves to Italy to further invest in her carrier as a designer.

She studies fashion design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and also specializes in leather products at POLIMODA. Matilda dedicates this website to all of those who are interested in knowing the history of Mat and touching her creation.

MAT logo is inspired from futuristic architecture shapes. It’s geometric lines highlights the simple, sophisticated, precise character of MAT style. MAT considers the human body like the most sophisticated equipment that we own to express feelings, ideas, emotions, character, personality, wisdom and develop experiences which leads in self-realisation and utility. 

MAT’s philosophy is to wake up in her clients the feeling of a strong sense of belonging to a very unique style which leads to a joyful reflection of inner self.
